ABOUT
Hello! I am Doctor Nate Edwards DPT, PT. I am a physical therapist and wellness practitioner dedicated to helping others achieve their personal goals. I am passionate about helping health care professionals work and live pain free after injury or due to the repetitive stress of day to day jobs.
After graduating from Pepperdine University with a BS in sports medicine, and from Boston University with a DPT, I continued to pursue a greater understanding of human recovery and completed courses for continuing education for ergonomics assessment and treatment, rehab tai chi and chi gong, manual lymphatic drainage, tool assisted manual therapy, and Bowstring Method of Manual Therapy.
Within the physical therapy field I specializes in treatment of dentists and other health care professionals recover from injuries and repetitive stress from their jobs including; neck and shoulder pain, back pain, and hand and wrist pain.
My mission is to help those in the health care field work and live pain free. I believe everyone can become a movement expert and aim to teach the why and how behind pain and performance. I understand that those in health care live busy lives, often neglecting themselves to treat others. That's why I pursue treating those that help others get out of pain and stay pain free!
Outside of physical therapy, I enjoy surfing, rock climbing, cycling, wood working, and leather craft. I am also a self proclaimed fantasy novel geek, hence the name Waystone, for my Patrick Rothfus fans out there.
